1. Service Scope

“Social Mate” offers public, non-romantic, non-physical, platonic companionship.

Examples: city tours, cafes, public events, park walks, museum visits.
Support for elderly users with social interaction and light mobility assistance.

2. Code of Conduct

• Remain in public places at all times.
• No touching, flirting, sexual comments, or relationship proposals.
• Use polite, respectful, inclusive language.
• No personal questions beyond casual small talk.
• The Mate may terminate the session immediately if uncomfortable.

3. Booking & Consent

• All bookings must go through the Mate app or website.
• A digital consent agreement is signed before the task begins.
• Users agree to public-only engagement and GPS tracking for safety and quality.

4. Cancellation & Refunds

• Cancellation within 1 hour of start time: £10 fee.
• If a Social Mate ends the session due to misconduct, no refund is given.

5. Safety & Monitoring

• Real-time GPS location is enabled for all Social Mate bookings.
• Panic/SOS button in-app for emergency disengagement.
• Admin team reviews session reports and disputes.

6. Age Restriction

Social Mates: minimum 18 years old.
Users booking the service: minimum 21 years old.

7. Prohibited Uses

Social Mate is not a dating, escort, or personal service.
Any request suggesting romance, private places, or physical contact will result in permanent suspension and may be reported to authorities.

Consent Contract

I understand and agree that this is a platonic, public-only companionship task, and I will not attempt to initiate any romantic, physical, or inappropriate behaviour during this session. I agree to remain respectful and to follow Mate’s Code of Conduct. I acknowledge that the session will be location-tracked and monitored for safety.
